About Katie Grace Harris...

Katie Grace Harris made her Folk singing debut in a rusty Triumph Toledo accompanied only by her Dad:

'We would sing songs from Joni Mitchell, The Spinners, Ralph McTell and James Taylor' she says.

It's no doubt that these early experiences have influenced the sound that she makes today which can best be described as earthy, piano accompanied English Folk; gentle new arrangements of traditional songs alongside raw and exposed original compositions which draw attention to historic stories with a smattering of social justice to temper the mix. Katie has turned her hand to a variety of instruments including Piano, Whistles,  Piano Accordion and Shruti. Katie can mostly be spotted playing solo or with various musicians around the folk clubs of the UK.

Acoustic ANJ - 'Musicianship at its finest! Harmonies, layers, spirit and energy. Bringing traditional folk styles into contemporary settings and giving them new life...well worth going out and checking out!'
